Atlanta firm buys two Arlington residential towers, expects return to ‘core markets’
Cortland, a major Atlanta-based land firm, shut on two major multifamily acquisitions in Arlington Tuesday, finishing the primary period of its arrangements to put $1 billion in nearby land. The organization is seeing “return movement to center business sectors” like the D.C. region and “this request shift is supposed to go on throughout the next few years, improving our viewpoint for multifamily networks in the district,” Dan Irvin, a local overseer of ventures with Cortland, told the Washington Business Journal. Cortland procured the Aubrey, a 23-story, 331-unit working at 1788 N. Penetrate St. in Rosslyn, from D.C.- based Penzance Cos., notwithstanding the 534-unit, two-tower Aura Pentagon City, crossing 1221 and 1331 S. Eads St., from Chevy Chase-based Polinger Co. what’s more, Boston’s State Street Global Advisors.
